Marisa Papen was at the centre of a worldwide controversy after she was imprisoned for posing nude in the vast temple complex of Karnak, near the city of Luxor earlier this month. The Belgian model has now shared stunning pictures taken by Australian photographer Jesse Walker from their African trip that saw her walk naked among the members of an isolated Ethiopian tribe.

Aerial photographs of an isolated tribe in the Brazilian rain forest are yielding a sensational new look at a Neolithic way of life that has all but disappeared from the face of the Earth. The high-resolution images, taken from a helicopter last week by Brazilian photographer Ricardo Stuckert , offer an unprecedented glimpse of a vibrant indigenous community living in complete isolation in the depths of the Amazon jungle. Last fall I had the chance to fulfill my one of my long-held dreams to visit the Omo valley and spend time with its remaining tribes. The Omo valley is in the Southern part of Ethiopia and the lack of roads and infrastructure in the area makes it very difficult to reach and to explore. Staying at two different camps over two weeks, seven of us were able to meet with four of the sixteen or so different tribal groups found in the region.
